About me
Who writes this, where from, and with what interests.

My name is Felipe. I'm a software engineer: years spent building systems for other companies, and these days doing it freelance — which is the part that matters here, because I get to choose where I work from, and that changed how I travel. The site you are reading I built myself too.
Where I've been
Around fifteen countries. Not many, and I'm in no hurry to add more: I travel slowly, stay longer than is sensible and go back to places I already know. Almost everything here comes out of that — routes I walked, budgets I paid, mistakes I don't make twice.
Why this site exists
Because the travel information I kept finding was either advertising or nostalgia. It rarely said what things actually cost, how long they actually take, or what you can skip without missing anything. That is what I write, country by country, with the date in plain sight so you know how old the figure is.
What's behind it
This site is paid for by affiliate links and by what the channel earns. The plan is for YouTube and the site to end up funding the travel that feeds them; we are not there yet, and when we are I will say so. No brand decides what appears here, and when something was given to me, the page says so.
What I'm not
I'm not a travel agent, a lawyer or a doctor. When the fact is a legal or a health one, I link the official source and do not interpret it.
